Class schedule

Classes are scheduled weekly at the same time & day.

No lessons on the 5th week of the month - can be used to arrange make up if needed.

The ClassCard app will be used to check class schedule, credits, view invoices and make payment for lessons.

⚠️Class schedules follow the ClassCard calendar slots. Admin and coaches may not send reminders on class schedules. If there is no lesson on a date (e.g. overseas travel or 5th week), there will be no slot shown. Students are responsible for checking the calendar to confirm class schedules. If there are any errors, please inform us.

If coach is on leave, you will be informed and there will not be a scheduled lesson. If you would like to proceed with the lesson, kindly inform us and we can arrange for a replacement coach.

Coaches and SwimCareSG are not responsible for lessons starting late due to the part of the student. If the coach is late, we will extend the lesson to complete the full duration.

Coaches and SwimCareSG are not liable for any damages, injuries or death arising outside of lesson time.

For group classes (3-5pax), SwimCareSG reserves the right to allocate suitable students to join the group up to a maximum of 5pax.
Class fee payment

One-time refundable deposit of $80/pax - Refunded on 1 month notice of termination.

Monthly lesson fees are sent on 24th of every month & due before the end of the last day of the month.

Fees are non-refundable and fees from any missed lessons (due to all reasons) are not applicable to use to offset/carry forward to next month’s fees.

⚠️If a student is unable to attend any lessons due to plans made in advance: give notice of the dates before payment is collected & we will not charge for those dates.

⚠️Payment after the last day of the month is subjected to $20 administrative fee & lessons will be suspended until payment is received.

Exceptions in payment: Unable to attend classes for >1 month - Not charged & slot is not reserved.

The $80 deposit will be forfeited & slots will be released if no communication about a temporary pause of lesson is received during the billing period.
Wet weather

Classes will proceed with light rain. Heavy rain/lightning, class cannot proceed in the pool.

In the event of rain, coaches & parents will monitor the rain closer to class time to decide if class should be cancelled.

If class has started & is unable to continue due to heavy rain/lightning, class will continue on dry sheltered land with kids friendly stretching and exercises, unless agreed that child/location is not suitable.

If dry land is not done, remaining class duration will be made up by extending subsequent lessons to make up.

Cancellations due to heavy rain/lighting are valid at any time before or during the lesson and make up can be arranged.
Class cancellation
⚠️Valid cancellations:

Due to falling ill/personal reasons: At least 2h notice of class cancellation and make up can be arranged. Cancellations made within 2h from the scheduled class time due to all reasons/no shows will be considered a chargeable class.

Cancellations due to heavy rain/lightning are valid at any point of lesson and make up can be arranged. Cancellations due to light rain/cold temperature will be considered a chargeable class.

Our coaches are committed to your child’s learning, however in the event of rare unforeseen circumstances, the coach may need to cancel the class. We will arrange a replacement coach to continue with lessons as planned. If you do not wish to have a replacement coach, kindly inform us and you can arrange make up with the primary coach. Do note that offset/refund of fees are not applicable in this case.
Make up arrangements
For paid lessons with valid cancellation

Option 1: Make up with the coach at mutual availability (make up for the whole duration/make up by extending regular lessons e.g. +15mins to 3 lessons).

Option 2: Make up with a replacement coach

Option 3: Store as class credit to arrange make up class when available. No expiry.

For 2pax or group classes, make up can be done separately for each student with the coaches if unable to find mutual availability (see adjustment in class duration below).
Note: ⚠️We do not provide offset or carry forward of fees from missed lessons. Make up classes are to be arranged in addition to regular weekly lessons and should not replace or be arranged on the regular lesson slots.

Special make up arrangement: If coach is on leave, students can arrange make up with a replacement coach to use their credits. This make up can be done on regular lesson slots.
Adjustments in class duration (Applies to 1-2 & group classes)
Classes will proceed even without full attendance. Same for make up classes.
Termination
At least 1 month (30 days) notice of termination; excludes duration of inactive attendance (months which are not charged) & clearing of class credits.
